Three Class Pictures

Here are three class pictures I recently completed.

Glacier Lake, The Ring of Kerry, Ireland
Could never get the distant island to "sit down".  It floats.  In the next picture, I used Turpenoid  and pastel as an underpainting.  I have used alcohol in the past but saw Maggie Price using Turpenoid in a recent webcast.  It took longer to dry, but I did get the dark background I wanted.

Glendalough Stream #2

Finally, a 45 minute painting of a New Mexico scene.  Rapid painting resulted in a "looser" picture.
